Reno, NV (July 4, 2020) – According to officers with the Reno Police Department, a fatal collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle was reported on Friday night, July 3rd. The accident happened on North Virginia Street at approximately 8:25 p.m.
RPD officials closed down North Virginia Street in both directions, just north of McCarren Boulevard after a motorcyclist was struck by an unspecified vehicle. Paramedics provided medical aid to the victim but have not elaborated on the extent of injuries.
The driver involved and other witnesses remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities. At this time, authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of this incident.
No further information has been released.
