Pedestrian struck and killed in Reno, NV

The Reno Police Department investigated a fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident on southbound Kietzke between Linden and Gentry Way. Just after 2:30am on June 28th 2023, Reno Police Department, Reno Fire and REMSA responded to a report of the crash in the 2800 block of Kietzke. The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Speed or driver impairment did not appear to be factors.

According to a state report, 72 pedestrians and 14 bicyclists were killed on Clark County roads by the end of 2022.
