Winchester, NV (August 19, 2020) – There were confirmed injuries at the scene of a car accident in Winchester at the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Karen Avenue on Tuesday, August 18. First responders and local law enforcement officials were called to the site of the accident at around 12:20 p.m.
According to reports from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, at least one person at the site of the collision was injured. However, the extent of the resulting injuries has not been disclosed by local authorities. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
The area of the crash was closed while authorities and emergency response units were at the scene. The injured parties were provided medical aid by responding paramedics. No further updates on the conditions of the crash parties have been provided.
The LVMPD is currently investigating the cause of the accident. More updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
