Three dead following crash in Nye County, Nevada

On May 20, Nevada State Police reported a fatal accident in Nye County. At around 9:25 p.m., a white Chevrolet Trax SUV was travelling north on the U.S. 95 near mile marker 10 when it suddenly veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup. The impact caused both vehicles to rotate and the pickup to catch fire. The SUV driver and passenger, Victor Jacuinde-Garcia (22) and Giovanni Vazquez (24), both from Las Vegas, were pronounced dead at the scene. Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
