Paradise, NV - Motorcycle Rider Injured in Russel Rd Accident - Richard Harris Personal Injury Law Firm Las Vegas

Paradise, NV (July 30, 2020) – A motorcycle rider is suffering from serious injuries after he was involved in an accident with an SUV on Tuesday, July 28 in Paradise.

Local law enforcement officers have stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of South Valley View Boulevard and West Russell Road at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Crash investigators with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department indicated that the 32-year-old biker endured injuries that were life-threatening when his motorcycle crashed into a sport utility vehicle when it turned directly into the path of the oncoming rider.

According to initial reports, the motorcyclist was heading northbound on a Honda CBR 1000 RR when he ran into a 2011 Ford Edge SUV that was heading down the southbound lanes of South Valley View Boulevard, as it endeavored to turn into the parking area of an industrial worksite.

The injured party was taken via ambulance to University Medical Center for emergency care. His condition at the time the accident occurred was listed as critical.

The driver of the Ford stayed at the scene of the accident and has been cooperative with law enforcement officers so far.

This accident is currently under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. No further information is available at this time.
