Las Vegas, NV (July 2, 2020) – One woman was killed in a house fire that also left one man injured in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning, June 30th. The fatal incident was reported at around 6:30 a.m. inside of a home located in the 500 block of Grimsby Avenue in Henderson.

According to authorities, firefighters were dispatched to the scene near Sunset Road and Stephanie Street where they worked to extinguish the blaze. Crews entered the one-story home and located an 82-year-old woman inside. She was promptly transported to University Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

One other person, identified only as a 55-year-old man was taken to UMC to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, the official cause of the fire remains under investigation.
