Silverton Casino History

Located a few miles off the strip, Silverton Casino or Silverton Lodge is a 300 room casino hotel with a rustic theme that opened in 1994.

Originally known as Boomtown Las Vegas the property failed to make money due to its location.

The area around The Silverton has since taken off making it a destination for locals as well as tourists.

In 2004 a Bass Pro Shop was added as part of a renovation that includes a 117,000 aquarium that features Mermaid shows.

Additionally there is a timeshare tower, The Berkley Las Vegas and Nevada’s first Cracker Barrel restaurant is located at The Silverton.

Additionally, The Silverton added a 150 room Hyatt Place as part of the plan to create a village environment.
