Las Vegas, NV (July 21, 2020) – This past Sunday evening, a teenage female was fatally struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Las Vegas. 

The collision took place at the intersection of NV-159 and Sky Vista Drive when two adults and two teenagers were walking through the desert near Charleston Boulevard. The two juveniles tried to run to the southern area of NV-159 when one of them, a 15-year-old female, was struck by an Audi headed west on the road. 

The teenage female was transported to UMC Children’s hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

The Audi driver was not visibly impaired and stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with authorities. 

No other injuries were reported to have taken place, and no one involved in the crash has currently been identified. 

It is unclear what caused the crash to take place, however, a police investigation into the wreck’s circumstances will continue. 

No further information has been released at this time.
