Multi-Vehicle Accident Leaves Motorcyclist Injured In Sparks
A three vehicle crash was responded to by the Nevada Highway Patrol Friday. The accident happened at 3:38 p.m. at the intersection of McCarran Boulevard and Gleeson Way in Sparks.
The intersection was shut down for several hours as NHP investigated the crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries.
The crash also involved two vehicles. At this time the two vehicles have not been identified and the cause of the crash is not known. It is also unknown if impairment played a role in the multi-vehicle accident.
Motorcycle accidents are on the rise in Nevada and have been for several years, Wearing a helmet and following traffic laws can reduce the risk of an accident as a motorcycle rider.
