Woman Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By A Truck Near Blue Diamond Road Wednesday
An accident involving a pedestrian caused several vehicles to crash and killed the pedestrian Wednesday.
The accident started at Blue Diamond Road and Hinson Street where a 61 year-old woman darted out into the road and stopped in front of a tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer was able to avoid hitting the woman but ended up colliding with a pickup truck instead.
The woman then continued walking on the sidewalk for about 500 feet on Blue Diamond Road and then at the intersection of Arville Street she darted out in traffic again. She ran right out in front of a box truck that struck and killed her.
