Truck Crash Causes Motorcycle Riders Death Near Pahrump
Nevada Highway Patrol were called to a crash scene around 5:45 p.m. Friday afternoon near Manse Road just south of Pahrump.
The motorcycle rider was believed to be speeding west on Manse Road when he crossed to the center line. The motorcyclist than ran in front of a 2020 Freightliner truck heading east on Manse Road.
The motorcycle was overturned and the rider was ejected from the bike. The van’s driver hit the brakes and tried to steer right to possibly avoid the accident, the motorcycle rider than hit the truck.
Medical personal arrived at the scene and pronounced the motorcycle rider dead. It is unknown if impairment was a factor in this crash and the victim has not yet been identified at this time.
