Saturday Afternoon Crash Takes The Lives Of Two On N Lamb Blvd, Kell Lane
Two people were killed Saturday September 21st in a crash at N. Lamb Boulevard and Kell Lane. According to police the accident happened in the afternoon around 4:30 p.m.
Witness statements and evidence the scene show that a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali was heading northbound on Lamb Blvd traveling at a high rate of speed.
At the same time, a 2008 Nissan Sentra was stopped at a stop sign on Kell Lane. The Nissan was attempting to cross N. Lamb Blvd, and was hit by the GMC on the driver’s side of the vehicle, according to police.
Both the 67 year-old driver and the 54 year-old passenger of the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 16 year-old driver and the 11 year-old passenger of the GMC were taken to University Medical Center and treated and than released. No further information is available at this time.
