E-Scooter Crash Leave Boulder City Man Dead, Tuesday Night
Boulder City police were called to the scene of a deadly crash Tuesday evening at the area of Buchanan Boulevard and Boulder City Parkway at around 5:25 p.m.
First responders reported attempting emergency medical care to a 22-year old man at the scene of the crash and then later transported him to Sunrise Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Police evidence and witness statements suggest that the E-scooter rider struck a car that was leaving and turning out of a parking lot. The E-scooter rider was not wearing a helmet according to police.
According to other witnesses every attempt was made to save the man’s life. Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The Nevada State Police have since taken over the investigation.
