2 Pedestrians Dead In 2 Separate Accidents In The Las Vegas Valley Friday Morning
Two separate incidents have left two pedestrians died in The Las Vegas Valley Friday morning according to Las Vegas Police.
The first crash took place at just before 5:50 a.m. on North Las Vegas Blvd. and North Lamb Blvd.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of a 2012 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on North Las Vegas blvd. when he struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross outside the marked crosswalk. The 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The second accident happened at around 6:10 a.m. near Boulder Highway and Whitney Avenue. The pedestrian, a 47-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital and later died of her injuries. Information on the driver of this crash has not been released.
