High-Speed Chase Leads To Accident On I-11 Early Friday Morning
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were involved in a high speed chase that ended in a collision early Friday morning.
The incident started around 3 a.m. when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department attempted to pull over a driver that they suspected of being under the influence at Sahara and Atlantic.
However, the driver had other plans and fled the scene to lead police on a chase leading to I-11 off of Boulder Highway.
The driver then collided with another vehicle near the Flamingo Road Exit of I-11.
At the crash scene the driver was taken into custody but identified and the charges have not been released at this time. There has been no information released on the condition of the occupants of the vehicle hit by the suspect. This accident caused a delay in traffic in the area for several hours.
