Roll-Over Car Accident Leaves One Dead In Reno
Reno Police Department were called to the scene of an accident at South McCarran and Belsera Court Sunday evening.
Reno Fire Department and REMSA arrived at the scene at just after midnight Sunday night to discover a car had rolled over on South McCarran.
The driver was pronounced dead by first responders at the scene. The passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Reno Police believe that speed played a role in the crash. The accident is still under investigation by the Major Accident Investigative Team.
South McCarran Boulevard was closed between Skyline Drive and Greensboro Drive until 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
The deceased victim’s identity has not yet been released.
