Wednesday Morning Crash Leaves A Motorcyclist Dead In Southeast Vegas
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Tropicana Avenue near Andover Drive.
According to authorities a gray sedan was traveling west on Tropicana, attempting to make a left hand turn on Andover Drive.
At the same time, a motorcyclist was traveling East on Tropicana. The motorcyclist hit the sedan when the car attempted to make the left turn.
First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The 36 year old Las Vegas motorcyclist was possibly speeding but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and impairment is not a factor in this accident.
Tropicana Avenue between Andover Drive and Boulder Highway was closed to traffic while police investigated the scene.
