SUV Strikes Pedestrian On Nellis Blvd Near Boulder Highway
A man is currently fighting life threatening injuries after being struck by an SUV while attempting to cross Nellis Boulevard, near Boulder Highway.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police the man was outside of the crosswalk area when he entered the SUV’s travel space. The SUV was traveling northbound on Nellis Boulevard when the incident occurred.
Driver of the SUV remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The pedestrian who has yet to be identified was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
Walking outside the crosswalk is dangerous and has lead to many pedestrian accidents in Las Vegas recently.
