Sunday Morning Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Dead In Northwest Las Vegas Valley
Sunday, just before 9 a.m. police were called to the scene of a dead;y crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Ann Road and El Capitan Way near Fort Apache.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed down Ann Road when he collided with a car in the intersection.
The rider of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike. The rider, a 36-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. There were two people in the vehicle at the time of the crash who were not injured. The driver remained at the scene and police don’t suspect impairment to be involved.
This accident is still under investigation. This is the 127th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction so far this year.
