Southwest Las Vegas Hit-And-Run Leaves Moped Rider Hospitalized
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were called to the scene of an accident involving a moped and a vehicle near Buffalo Drive and Desert Inn Road early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at around 4:28 a.m. when a moped was struck by a sedan. The sedan fled the scene and police are continuing to look for the car and driver.
The moped was left in the roadway causing some lanes in the area to be closed while the cleanup and investigation took place.
The moped rider was hospitalized with unknown.injuries. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
