One Pedestrian Dead After Being Hit On Red Rock Road In Reno
Reno police were called around 5 a.m. on Friday to Red Rock Road in Reno to a crash that has left one person dead.
The accident occurred when a driver who was traveling Southbound on Red Rock Road hit a pedestrian.
According to police the person walking was not using the sidewalk but walking on the road about 15 feet from the sidewalk.
Police are still investigating the incident but don’t believe that speed or impairment were a factor in the crash.
The victim has not been identified at this time. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with the police investigation.
