One Dead After Being Hit By SUV In Parking Lot In North Las Vegas
The North Las Vegas Police Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian in a parking lot in north Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas police were called to the 1200 block of East Craig Road near 5th Street, around 1:05 p.m.
A man was reported to have been hit by a vehicle in a parking lot.
Once they arrived at the scene the North Las Vegas Police found a man unresponsive near a red SUV in the parking lot of a restaurant.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Police believe there may have been an altercation between the driver of the SUV and the victim and all others involved before the victim was hit by the SUV.
The driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Andrea Ann Roman stayed at the scene and was arrested on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon.North Las Vegas police are still investigating the case.
