Monday Morning Commute Brought To A Halt With 10-Car Crash On I-11 Near Valley View Blvd.
Nevada State Police were at the scene of what began as a three car accident on I-11 near downtown Monday morning.The crash that eventually involved 10 vehicles happened at 4:55 a.m. near Valley View Blvd.
The accident quickly escalated after debris was scattered over the roadway and was either hit by vehicles or vehicles tried to avoid hitting them. According to police the chain reaction event began when a driveshaft was in the roadway.
One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries and others reported minor injuries that were treated at the scene. This 10 car chain reaction accident left traffic backed-up bumper to bumper towards the Spaghetti Bowl.
It has not been released as to how the debris got in the highway or if anyone was responsible.
