Man on scooter killed on W Cheyenne in North Las Vegas
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department a man lost control and crashed his scooter on the Westbound Side of Cheyenne Ave at about 8:30pm Saturday night near Simmons Street. Apparently he was blocking lanes and was consequently struck by passing vehicles. He was pronounced dead on scene and police are still investigating the circumstances that lead to this tragedy but it seems the man may have been riding under the influence.
