Injuries Sustained In A Crash At S. Las Vegas Blvd. And W. Tropicana, Monday
Police responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of West Tropicana Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard early Monday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 8:51 a.m. on the eastbound side of Tropicana Avenue just west of the strip.
First responders including paramedics and the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue provided on scene care for individuals involved in the crash. At least one person was injured, the severity of the injuries have not been released. Traffic was slowed in the area while police investigated the crash and cleared the roadway.
Since this area is located in a highly trafficked area with both pedestrians and vehicles it made it more difficult during the morning commute.
The cause of the crash has not been released and it is not known if impairment or speed played a factor in the accident. Metropolitan Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
