I-15 Crash Near Spring Mountain Road Leaves One Dead Friday Morning
Nevada State Police Have confirmed a deadly crash on the northbound on ramp of the I-15 to Spring Mountain Road early Friday morning.
The crash happened at around 8:30 a.m. in the central valley closing part of the freeway and surrounding area for a time.
According to police the accident involved a Chevrolet work truck and a pedestrian. First responders took a man to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital despite efforts by first responders and hospital staff.
No additional information on the cause of the crash or if impairment was involved has been released at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of the next of kin.
