Hit And Run Leaves One Dead And Police Searching For The Driver
A pedestrian was killed on Thursday June 20th while attempting to cross Boulder Highway. Just before 11 p.m. the pedestrian was walking outside of the crosswalk or implied walkway area on boulder Highway.
The driver of an unknown vehicle approached from Mayorga Street and hit the pedestrian. The driver failed to stop after the crash and fled the scene of the accident. When first responders arrived at the scene the pedestrian had succumbed to their injuries.
Police are investigating the case and looking for the driver and vehicle. Anyone who might have some information regarding this crash is asked to call The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Collision Investigations Unit.
