Crash In The West Valley Leaves Ambulance Overturned Near The 215
Nevada State Police reported an accident involving an ambulance and an SUV Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m. on Charleston Boulevard near the 215 Beltway. Traffic was blocked for several hours due to the crash.
According to reports the ambulance was on its way to a call with lights and possibly sirens running. while on its way the ambulance was hit by an SUV and the ambulance was flipped on its side.
An employee for the ambulance who was riding in the back of the ambulance during the accident was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
It has not been reported on the cause of the accident or the state of the driver of the SUV. Westbound lanes were reopened at around 11 a.m.
