Christmas Eve Rollover Crash Leaves One Dead In Southwest Las Vegas
Police responded to a crash on BLue Diamond Road near the turnoff for Pahrump on State Route 160. The accident occured Christmas Eve at around 8 p.m.
Police reported that the accident involved one car with speed being a factor. The rollover accident left one victim dead.
State Route 160 had to be closed going towards Red Rock.
Speeding is easy to do when there is no traffic or in rural areas.
However those windy roads in the desert in the dark can be just what is needed to cause a deadly crash if someone is driving over the speed limit or under the influence. Distracted driving on these roads can also have deadly results. Always be careful when driving on dark rural roads.

According to a state report, 72 pedestrians and 14 bicyclists were killed on Clark County roads by the end of 2022.
