Auto-Pedestrian Crash Leaves One Dead In Summerlin
Nevada State Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle leaving one dead. The accident happened Tuesday evening around 8:40 p.m. near Charleston Boulevard and the 215 Freeway.
According to police a man was taken to a local hospital for his injuries but later died. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
The accident near Red Rock Resort and Casino closed all eastbound lanes on Charleston Boulevard for several hours while police investigated the scene.
Neither the driver or the pedestrian has been identified at this time. The closures remained until around midnight due to the police investigation.
