3-Vehicle Crash Leaves 2 Dead on State Route 160 ,Police Say
Nevada State Police reported an accident in Nye County on State Route 160 at mile marker 2 south of Manse Road. The accident was reported at 6:37 p.m. Sunday.
The accident involved three cars, including a sports utility vehicle, a hatchback, and a sedan. First responders reported the accident caused two deaths. A woman, the driver of the hatchback and a man, the driver of the SUV both succumbed to their injuries.The driver of the sedan did not sustain any injuries according to police.
Traffic was diverted while Nevada State Police conducted their investigation. The cause of the crash has not been released and the identities of the deceased have also not been released pending notification of next of kin.
