23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies In Crash In North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas Police responded to a deadly crash Friday night at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road.
Police arrived around 7:49 p.m. to the 2800 block of Pecos Road and found a collision between a Honda SUV and a motorcycle.
According to police upon arrival they found a motorcyclist, a 23-year-old male with life threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Evidence suggests that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Pecos Road at a high rate of speed when it hit the passenger side of the Honda SUV that was turning left into a business parking lot from northbound Pecos Road.
Police believe that speed was a factor in this case; impairment is still under investigation. According to police the driver of the Honda remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
This crash remains under investigation and the victim has not been identified at this time.
