Two drivers injured during crash in Reno
Thursday evening, October 13th, two people were reported to have been injured in an accident that took place in Reno around 6:30pm near the I-80 along McCarran Blvd. According to Reno Police, the accident occurred when a driver made a u-turn in a travel lane. Another vehicle struck the turning vehicle which resulted in extensive damage to both vehicles. The two drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries but were transported to a local area hospital. They are expected to make a full recovery. The road was blocked off for a short-while as the investigation was ongoing.

According to recent statistics 2021 was the deadliest for Nevada roads in 14 years. The state has reported 382 traffic deaths last year, or an 18% increase over 2020′s total.
