Six-car-accident results in 73 year-old woman in critical condition in Las Vegas
On Friday afternoon, a 73-year-old woman was involved in a multiple car accident in the central Las Vegas valley. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department`s Collision Investigation Section, the accident happened at 4:32 p.m. on Decatur Boulevard south of Charleston Boulevard, near West Dover Place. The woman was driving a 1991 Chevrolet 1500 north on Decatur Boulevard when she failed to stop at an intersection with multiple vehicles stopped at a red light, resulting in her crashing into five stopped vehicles before coming to rest. The woman was the only one hospitalized and was transported to University Medical Center`s trauma unit in critical condition. The other drivers and passengers involved did not need medical attention.
