Rural Crash Outside Of Las Vegas Leaves One Dead, One In Critical Condition
Nevada State Police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in rural Nevada early Friday morning. According to Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol the accident occurred after 4:00 a.m. on Highway 318 in Lincoln County, about 139 miles North of Las Vegas according to police.
First responders on the scene pronounced one man dead and transported one woman by helicopter to the hospital with critical injuries.
Evidence suggests that this was a head-on collision between a sedan and a semi-truck near mile marker 23 on highway 318.
The identity of the victims and the cause of the crash are not available at this time.
