Police investigate hit-and-run in Boulder City
On Monday morning, the Boulder City Police Department and Nevada State Police launched a joint investigation into a hit-and-run crash that had occurred approximately 8:45 a.m. on US 95/mile marker 43 in Boulder City. According to the police, the incident involved a maroon-colored semi truck that had struck a bicyclist before fleeing the scene.
The police have urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward, as they believe that the perpetrator of the crime must be brought to justice. Furthermore, the police have shared that they are doing all they can to locate the vehicle, and are asking for the public’s assistance in doing so.

From 2015 to 2019, a total of 378 pedestrian fatalities and 368 fatal incidents occurred on roadways in Nevada. Generally, the number of such fatalities and crashes increased over this period.
