Jennifer Rubi Soto-Cruz, 24, killed in a motor vehicle accident in Las Vegas
On Friday night, a fatal motor vehicle accident occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to the Nevada State Police, the crash happened at approximately 12:16 a.m. near the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Meikle Lane, south of Lake Mead Boulevard. The incident involved a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, which had been travelling at a high rate of speed, and resulted in the vehicle striking a metal pole of a billboard and then a brick wall. 24-year-old Jennifer Rubi Stot Cruz, a passenger in the Chevrolet, suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 21-year-old Jesus Martinez-Ruiz, sustained minor injuries.
