Driver flees police and strikes 4 vehicles before coming to a stop in Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department recently reported a chaotic incident involving a driver attempting to flee a police stop. At 5:41 p.m., RTC reported a crash northbound at Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard, which blocked all lanes at Smoke Ranch Road and Carey Avenue. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the driver was involved in a carjacking and had attempted to evade police. When officers attempted to initiate a stop, the suspect drove off and collided with a LVMPD vehicle. The pursuit continued southbound on Rancho Drive and the suspect crashed into three more cars before attempting to flee on foot. Fortunately, police were able to apprehend the suspect before any further damage was caused.
