Crash Involving A Tractor-Trailer Leaves Two Dead On Simmons Street
North Las Vegas crash involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle left two dead on Thursday afternoon. According to North Las Vegas police the accident happened at around 4:17 p.m. on April 9th in the area of Simmons Street and Citizen Avenue.
The accident was engulfed in flames when police arrived at the scene. According to police a Dodge Challenger was speeding Northbound on Simmons Street when it collided with a Freightliner tractor-trailer that was making a left turn into an industrial complex from Southbound Simmons Street.
North Las Vegas first responders reported that both drivers died at the scene. The identities of the deceased have not been released as this is an ongoing investigation.
