Auto-accident victim dies weeks later from Injuries in Las Vegas, NV
Tragically, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, who was critically injured in the December 15th collision on North Rampart Boulevard and Del Webb Boulevard, passed away on Tuesday morning. Initially, both drivers were expected to survive, with the driver of the Ford Escape only sustaining minor injuries.
According to the incident report, the Chevrolet had been travelling northbound on Rampart Boulevard in the left-turn lane, while the Ford had been travelling southbound. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that the Chevrolet had turned left into the path of the Ford, resulting in the Ford striking the Chevrolet in the intersection. Emergency medical personnel had transported both drivers to University Medical Center, where the Chevrolet driver was evaluated for critical injuries and the Ford driver was evaluated for suspected minor injuries. Unfortunately, the driver of the Chevrolet succumbed to their critical injuries earlier this week.
