Two-Vehicle Accident Leaves One Dead Near Stagecoach
Nevada State Police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 near Stagecoach, Nevada.
Reports indicate that the accident occurred at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday near Apache Drive and the westbound U.S. 50 in Stagecoach.
Nevada State Police found one person dead at the scene of the accident.
Police closed U.S. 50 near Apache Road while investigating the crash. Stagecoach is located approximately 10 miles West of Silver Springs.
Police have yet to identify the victim in the case or what the cause of the accident was. This accident is under investigation by Nevada State Police.
Accidents in rural areas like Stagecoach and Silver Springs usually happen from tired or distracted driving. When your tired you should stop and rest. Never be on your phone while driving, always use a hands free device if you need to use your phone. These simple things can prevent car accidents.
