Two dead in vehicle crash in Las Vegas, NV
On Wednesday night, the Las Vegas Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Fremont Street Experience casino mall in downtown Las Vegas. The accident occurred when an SUV disregarded a “don’t walk” signal, resulting in a 44-year-old Monument, Minnesota resident and a 51-year-old Hobbs, New Mexico resident being struck while crossing 4th Street. The driver, a 28-year-old Las Vegas woman, was subsequently detained on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving and fleeing the scene of the accident, and is currently being held pending a court date.
