Truck driver loses control on the i15 in Las Vegas


Nevada Highway Patrol reported that a tractor-trailer crashed on an overpass on the I15, the truck jack-knifed after failing to maintain its lane. The driver only sustained minor injuries, but the truck was left dangling over the edge of the overpass. Cleanup crews are working to remove diesel fuel from the crash site which is causing traffic to be diverted off at Speedway. Thankfully the driver only suffered minor injuries

Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
