Stolen car driver flees police and crashes into several taxis in Las Vegas, NV
On Wednesday evening, a vehicle which had been reported stolen was spotted by law enforcement officers near the Las Vegas Strip. In an attempt to escape, the driver of the vehicle made a desperate attempt to flee the scene, resulting in a crash involving several taxis at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was quickly on the scene and, after a brief struggle, the suspect was taken into custody. Unfortunately, the incident left the road blocked, with two right lanes closed for some time, according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported and the situation was quickly brought under control.
