Pedestrian struck by vehicle outside crosswalk area in Las Vegas
On Thursday night at 7:36 p.m., a man was struck by a 2014 Buick Enclave while crossing the street at the Pecos-McLead Interconnect south of South Mojave Road in Las Vegas. The pedestrian was crossing the road outside of a marked crosswalk when the accident occurred. The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and he is currently in critical condition. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has reported that the driver of the Buick was not impaired and the crash is still under investigation.
