Pedestrian struck and injured on Boulder Hwy in Las Vegas
Las Vegas Police Dept reported that a pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle while crossing the street on Wednesday the 16 of November at around 6pm. The van was owned by the Davis Funeral home and was believed to be traveling lawfully along Boulder highway at the time of the incident. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries and it is expected that will recover fully. Traffic was temporarily shut down in the area while police investigated.

From 2015 to 2019, the number of pedestrian fatalities and fatal crashes generally increased. A total of 378 fatalities and 368 fatal pedestrian incidents occurred on Nevada roadways.
