Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle in Las Vegas, NV
On Saturday evening, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported a terrible motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Russell Road and Boulder Highway. The unfortunate incident involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, with the pedestrian being struck by the car. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials, and their identity has yet to be revealed. The cause of the crash and the circumstances surrounding it remain unclear, and whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be determined. To facilitate the investigation, Boulder Highway had been closed to traffic between Gibson and Boulder Ranch Avenue.

From 2015 to 2019, the number of pedestrian fatalities and fatal crashes generally increased. A total of 378 fatalities and 368 fatal pedestrian incidents occurred on Nevada roadways.
