A man (67-year-old Gregory Michael) had died and two others were injured after a crash on U.S. 95 earlier this month. On Tuesday, Nevada State Police had released more details about the crash, which had happened on March 15. Investigators had said the crash had happened at 4:10 p.m. on U.S. 95 and mile marker 12 in Nye County. According to Nevada State Police, a 2024 Toyota Corolla had been traveling northbound on U.S. 95 and approaching mile marker 12. A 2008 Ford F-250 pickup truck had been pulling a trailer and traveling southbound on U.S. 95. For unknown reasons, the Corolla had crossed the yellow centerline into the path of the F-250.
The F-250 had collided with the Corolla, causing the Corolla to spin and overturn. The driver of the Corolla, a man whose identity had not been released, had been pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the F-250 had sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries had not been disclosed.
