Motorcyclist killed during accident in Southwest Las Vegas
On Saturday February 18th 2023, tragedy struck the southeastern Las Vegas valley when a motorcyclist was fatally involved in a crash. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the incident occurred in the afternoon, when the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Flamingo Road, close to Eastern Avenue. The motorcyclist was in the far right lane when a Jeep, also travelling eastbound, attempted to make a left turn from the center lane. This resulted in a collision between the motorcycle and the Jeep`s passenger side door, leading to the motorcyclist`s death. Officers on the scene pronounced the motorcyclist dead.
