Motorcyclist dies while passing in oncoming traffic in Las Vegas
Police had to close both sides of Las Vegas Boulevard near the Seven Magic Mountains due to an accident involving a Honda Civic and a motorcycle. According to police investigation, the Civic was traveling southbound while the motorcycle was heading northbound. The motorcyclist attempted to pass the vehicle in front of them, driving into the opposite lane and crashing with the Civic. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants inside the Civic, all women, had minor injuries and were transported to St. Rose Sienna. Police suspect impairment on behalf of the motorcyclist and are continuing their investigation into the accident.
